⚠️ Issue:
Joystick turns on, but the chair does not move.
✅ Step 1: Check the Brake Levers
Look at the brake (freewheel) levers behind each drive wheel:
Make sure both brake levers are in the “locked” or “drive” position (usually pointing down).
If they are in the “freewheel” position (usually up), the chair won’t move even if powered on.
✅ Step 2: Unlock the Joystick (If It’s Locked)
The joystick may be in lock mode:
Turn off the joystick.
Turn it back on.
Immediately press the horn button twice (2x) quickly.
If successful, the joystick should now be unlocked.
? Tip: If you press and hold the power button for more than 5 seconds, it may lock the joystick.
✅ Step 3: Power Cycle Properly
Follow this quick sequence:
Push the power button to turn off.
Confirm brake levers are locked in drive mode.
Turn the joystick back on.
Press the horn button twice to unlock (if needed).
? Still Not Moving?
Make sure battery charge is sufficient.
